Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be met by your Enta Serian guide who will transfer you to your comfortable lodge in Arusha. The scenic drive offers views of Mount Meru and, on clear days, the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro.

Settle into your accommodation and spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or exploring the beautiful lodge grounds. This is the perfect time to prepare your camera gear and mentally gear up for the incredible wildlife encounters ahead.

In the evening, join your guide for a detailed safari briefing over a welcome dinner, where we'll discuss the exciting days ahead and answer any questions about your Big Five adventure.

After an early breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic highlands and past the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with wildlife sightings possible along the way.

Enter the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate and begin your first game drive through the southern plains. Keep your eyes peeled for cheetahs, lions, elephants, and if you're lucky, leopards lounging in the iconic acacia trees. The Serengeti is home to the largest lion population in Africa.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your exploration. As the afternoon unfolds, witness the golden light painting the savannah as predators begin their evening hunt. Arrive at your tented camp for dinner under the African stars.

Today is dedicated entirely to tracking the Big Five across the vast Serengeti plains. Start with an early morning game drive when animals are most active and the soft morning light creates perfect photography conditions.

Your expert guide will take you to prime wildlife viewing areas, including kopjes (rock outcrops) where lions often rest, and riverine areas where elephants and buffalo congregate. The Serengeti's diverse ecosystem supports an incredible density of predators and prey.

Enjoy a bush breakfast or picnic lunch before continuing your safari. Spend the afternoon searching for elusive leopards and the critically endangered black rhino. As sunset approaches, position yourselves for spectacular savannah sunset views before returning to camp.

After breakfast, journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the crater floor—one of the world's most unique wildlife ecosystems. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to over 25,000 animals.

The crater provides one of the best opportunities to see the Big Five in a single day. Spot black rhinos grazing near the swamps, massive elephants moving across the crater floor, buffalo herds numbering in the hundreds, and resident lion prides.

Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic site, often beside a hippo pool, before continuing your exploration. The diverse habitats—from grasslands to swamps to forests—support an incredible variety of wildlife. Late afternoon, ascend to your lodge on the crater rim.

After a leisurely breakfast with stunning crater views, begin your journey back to Arusha. The drive takes you through the beautiful Tanzanian countryside and traditional Maasai villages.

Arrive in Arusha in time for lunch (optional) before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Carry with you unforgettable memories of Africa's Big Five and the incredible landscapes of Tanzania.

If your flight departs late in the evening, consider optional activities such as visiting a local coffee plantation, shopping for souvenirs at cultural markets, or enjoying a relaxing afternoon at a day-use lodge.
